Qigong & Pranayama
Qigong is a more than 5000 years old Chinese tradition of self-cultivation of body and mind and combines a variety of different energetic exercises. Movement, concentration and breathing are always combined in the practice of Qigong.
Pranayama is the fourth limb of Raja Yoga and brings together body and mind through breathing exercises. The Sanskrit name is made up of the words ‘prana’ (life force or energy) and ‘ayama’ (control or expansion).
The techniques improve physical and mental well-being through relaxation, expansion of lung capacity and increased concentration.

This course offers an introduction to the harmonious connection between movement and breath using Qigong and Pranayama techniques.
Over the course of 10 lessons, you will master key practices that you can continue to explore on your own with ease and enjoyment.
This course offers a step-by-step introduction to the essential principles of Qigong. Starting with a warm-up to loosen your joints and promote the flow of Qi (life energy), you will be supported in learning:
